Part 1

Download the Eau Claire DEM dataset from this link:

• https://gitlab.com/mhaffner/data/-/raw/master/ec_dem_small.tif

1. Create a new dataset of the locations where elevation is greater than 275m.
2. Create a new dataset of locations where the slope is less than 3 degrees.
3. Combine the two datasets together to create a single output dataset. Try both the Weighted Sum tool and the Raster Calculator tool.

Return to the analysis from Part 1 of this activity.

1. Use the aspect tool to find locations predominantly South facing.
2. Use the Raster Calculator tool but assign weights the characteristics such that slope 50% of the criteria, elevation is 40% of the criteria, and elevation is 10% of the criteria.
