Model Builder
Copy the campgrounds.shp dataset from the folder Q:\Student Coursework\Haffnerm\DATA
to your folder on the Q:\ drive. Be sure to copy all files associated with the shapefile rather than just the .shp. Then,
using the ArcGIS Model Builder, create a model which
- Performs a coordinate reference system transformation on the data to
EPSG:27200 - Creates a 10 km buffer around the campgrounds
After this, add the resulting dataset to the map to ensure that it is correct.
Then, copy the oregondata.gdb geodatabase from the folder Q:\Student Coursework\Haffnerm\DATA to your folder on the Q:\ drive.
Create a new model and copy/paste the existing model into this new one. Using
the āairportsā feature class within āTransportationā feature dataset in the
oregon.gdb geodatabase, simply replace the input dataset with this new one.
Only change the CRS to something appropriate for Oregon. Run the model again and
visualize the results.
